Martin's got the audience in the palm of his hand on this mid-'70s recording of a show at The Boarding House in San Francisco. The comedian and his crowd are on the same wavelength; everyone in the room seems to share a California post-hippie sense of absurdism. I saw this device at work-site not long after the release should look around to find it, it is now for sale everywhere.

Advantages:

-Cage can be chained with stairs and the framework.

-cable wrap preserves cable tidy when not in use.

-light weight.

-Square shape allows you to stack a two wheeler (unlike the DW & Mil).

-Snap-CD tray keeps disks from blocking if tip or crash on it with a skyjack.

-EQ designed to LOUD and to fill a room with sound (see disadvantages).

-on-board GFCI purges cable clutter.

-12v output and input mini-jack lets me tie into an I-pod or other gear.

-Charger battery cabinet holds 8-9 CD jewel cases for the safe carriage!

CONS:

-EQ was not designed for the Carpenter audiophile. If you want a booming lows and tight high-performance, Buy a Bose Wave Radio and hope your not useless.

-No line plug for sending a transmitter or other device.

-FM reception is rubbish, I'm using CDs and MP3s unless they listen to AM.

-backlit screen is not designed for viewing over a horizontal row. If you have the setting, you should tip back (or a device on the floor) to read the screen from the above you can see all the possible icons.

-Volume control does not give you much room for subtle music I normally keep. 1 or 2. volume is electronically with a momentary up-down control via a shuttle knob (left)

-GFCI doors flip, so you have to tip the unit on the side to see the plugs for mating. simply you tore the doors after a while I figured, why have rain lids? Work indoors as well after the task is dry.

-all the space and crannies on molded collects a LOT of dust and debris.

HINT!

The antenna is hidden separately in the round handle on the Decoding unit., cut the antenna lead on the handle and soldered to a retractable antenna (from my local RadioShack) you easily attached at the top of the main shell not reccomend this process, but I can tell you, my host FM increased significantly.
